Last week was the opening reception of my latest exhibition, at the Kunsthalle St. Annen in Lübeck, Germany. It is the first big project since the birth of our son, and I was curious how this would turn out. It went well even though I suspected it might not. Working while having a baby is completely different to the way I did it before: time, space and energy are much more precious now and when the baby needs me, I simply can’t work.
In fact, our kiddo is just great, the perfect freelance baby! He did well during the preparations, during the opening reception and while I created the works that are now shown at the museum. Despite my worries about how it might turn out, I also got lovely feedback on my work and I now like it much, too.
The exhibition is running for another four weeks from now. If you want to see the show yourself (and you should!), here’s the details:

The video is running in a loop at the exhibition, and I’m still editing it to upload it to vimeo. I’ll tell you as soon as I got that done. I need a few days to recover, and the next exhibition of my works (mainly drawings) opens in about two weeks from now. – I’ll keep you posted!
